The club is situated approximately half a mile from junction 11 of the M4.
From junction 11 take the Basingstoke exit A33 then immediately turn left for Three Mile Cross, Spencers Wood, Swallowfield. The club is on your left just before Mitford Close. The entrance to the grounds is shared with the MOT Centre (Montelle Motors).
Look out for the sign to the Bowls Club at the entrance – it is under the MOT Centre sign. There is also a sign for our club on Mitford Close, next door to the club, which is shared with Fine Images Ltd.
If travelling from Spencers Wood/ Swallowfield, go over the mini roundabout with the Budgens supermarket and garage on your left. The club is on your right after the Swan pub and Mitford Close. Look out for the signs as mentioned above.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Improvements are being made to the Basingstoke Road and Church Lane Junction in Three Mile Cross. From mid to late June 2022, the Basingstoke Road end of Church Lane will be closed to traffic for approximately 5 months. During the works, temporary traffic lights will be used to manage traffic flows at junctions. (Working hours will be 7.00 am – 6.30 pm). Please make alternative travel plans if you usually use Church Lane to access Three Mile Cross. You may wish to allow extra time for your journey to the club this summer.
Drive into the club grounds and the car park is at the far side of the green. Please be aware of speed bumps along the drive. Also please bear in mind that the drive is shared with a garage that is in constant use throughout the working day. Any cars that might cause an obstruction will be moved as soon as possible. It would be appreciated if visitors could be patient when the garage is very busy.
Please do not park on the hard standing area at the right hand corner of the club’s grounds. This is designated for use by Montelle Motors.
MESSAGE FOR LADIES – the ladies’ changing room is close to the club entrance, therefore it is advised to drop off your bag on the way in to save carrying it from the car park.
The changing room for men is the large wooden building adjacent to the car park.
