No one in sport and physical activity; whether they are a volunteer, participant, spectator or elite athlete, should ever have to worry about abuse or harassment.

We are committed to safeguarding all those who participate in our sport, ensuring they can do so in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment.

Club Safeguarding Officer

Our Safeguarding Officer is Marilyn Legg. She has been appointed by the club to assist in ensuring a safe and welcolming environment for all participants.

She acts as the club’s first point of contact to members, volunteers, children and parents in any issue concerning the safeguarding of particpants, poor practice and potential or alleged abuse within or outside the sport.

Marilyn, on behalf of the club, will ensure that any incidents and concerns are dealt with in accordance with the National Governing Body (NGB).

Through our affiliation to Bowls England, Three Mile Cross Bowling Club adopts the Safeguarding Policies and Guidelines (or any subsequent policy) as approved by Bowls England.
